Driving
DIRECTIONS

It’s a snap to get from Salt Lake International Airport to Park City.
- Exit the airport and take I-80 East bound.
- About 2 miles from the airport I-80 intersects and merges with I-15.
- Once you merge with I-15, you will go South about 2 more miles, then I-80 breaks off again heading East.
- Stay on I-80 (toward Cheyenne, WY), go over Parleys Summit, and you will intersect Highway 224 which is the main entry road to Park City.
- There are illuminated signs that update you on the drive time to Park City. Usually, the drive time from the airport to Park City is about 25-30 minutes.
CAR/SUV RENTALS
Car rental pick up is easiest at the airport. It is only a short walk from the baggage claim to the rental car offices.
If you are staying downtown or in a place right by one of the ski areas, you may opt to take a shuttle from the airport and just ride the shuttle/bus to get from your lodging to restaurants.
Generally, the ski area and town is spread out enough where a car is useful, particularly if you intend to ski all three areas (PCMR, Deer Valley, and the Canyons)
IMPORTANT: Ask about parking at your accommodations. Sometimes garages are not large enough to handle big SUVs like Expeditions. Or, if you are going to have two or more vehicles, make sure that your accommodations will park that number of vehicles.
DOWNTOWN PARKING
Parking is always limited in mountain towns, but Park City has recently built a new public garage at Swede Alley which is one block off Main Street.
NOTE: There is no street parking anywhere in Park City after 2 AM during the winter months. You will be towed to allow the snowplows to maintain the roads. If your car is towed please call us at 435-225-5494.
