This will have you thinking of ways to save money like unplugging appliances when not in use or turning off your lights for an hour a day. Green energy starts in the home and by using less energy we generate less demand on our current infrastructure resulting in reduced energy costs for everyone!

Now that we have gone through the setup and initial steps of the solar program we come to the application. All of the steps leading to this point should leave you ready to begin your project on schedule. By choosing a pre-approved contractor and filling out the other forms you will have almost no problem starting your renewable energy project as quickly as possible. We recommend starting the application process soon to take advantage of your new green energy for those warm summer months!

The long anticipated part 2 has finally arrived. Check out the details of the incentive program that is in the works. It has not yet been approved but these are simply general guidelines until solar becomes more prevalent in the Park City Rentals market. Something as simple as running your hot water heater can help reduce carbon emmissions and save you lots of $$$$ every year!

Over the course of the next few weeks I will be providing information regarding solar energy and what the costs and benefits are. Also, I will discuss the program sponsored by Rocky Mountain Power to subsidize both the construction and buy back of the energy produced from homes or businesses producing solar energy. This program is not limited to Utah it is also extended to customers in Wyoming and Idaho. Later in the series I will provide a list of pre-approved program suppliers and installers to save you the time of finding one.
