Park City Food & Wine Classic

by Brady Goodwin 22. May 2010 09:14

If you enjoy the taste and culture of wine and food, you won't want to miss the Park City Food & Wine Classic in the beginning of July. Typically held the first weekend, the Park City Food and Wine Classic is a series of celebrations, auctions, golf tourney, live music, seminars, and an endless supply of great food and wine tastings.

The weekend begins with the Kickoff Celebration at Deer Valley where guests can enjoy a tasting of a variety of wines, paired with dishes from local chefs. Friday morning you can join a golf tournament at Park City Golf Course.

The Canyons will host food and wine seminars all day Friday and Saturday. Friday afternoon enjoy the Stroll of Park City, where hundreds cruise downtown Park City and enjoy live music along the sidewalks and can sample wine and great eats from selected Park City Restaurants. The final event, a Toast to Park City, is hosted by the Canyons on the last night. Enjoy music, wine, delicious food, and good company at the Park City Food and Wine Classic.

July 8-11, 2010 from 9am-10pm daily.

Park City Rentals Energy Audit

by Brady Goodwin 14. May 2010 10:15

Follow the link and print out the form to perform your very own at home energy audit.  This will have you thinking of ways to save money like unplugging appliances when not in use or turning off your lights for an hour a day.  Green energy starts in the home and by using less energy we generate less demand on our current infrastructure resulting in reduced energy costs for everyone!

by Brady Goodwin 24. February 2010 14:35

It's a big claim: Catch a morning flight from almost anywhere and you can be on our slopes the same afternoon. The Park City Quick START (Ski Today and Ride Today) Vacation lets you convert your airline boarding pass into a same-day lift ticket to the Park City resort of your choice. It’s your chance to get a free same-day lift ticket at Deer Valley Resort, The Canyons Resort, or Park City Mountain Resort.

You will need to bring the completed, required redemption voucher, along with your same-day boarding pass and out of state photo I.D., to the resort ticket window, to receive your same-day lift ticket. You’ll discover the best skiing and riding you’ve ever experienced, not to mention the most conveniently located resort town in the West. Park City is located just 35 short minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Quick START offer valid starting on the respective resort opening day to 12/24/09, 1/3/10 – 2/12/10, and 3/28/10 to the respective resort closing day 2010.

OFFER NOT VALID - 12/25/09-1/2/10, 2/13/10 - 3/27/10

New Property Additions!!

by Brady Goodwin 8. February 2010 14:08

Park City is rapidly springing back from this most recent recession.  Home sales are on the rise again and with that Property Managers are getting busy.  New owners typically mean new management for their property.  Vacation Quest has been rapidly expanding by adding not one, not two, but three new properties.  They will be up on the site soon, so check back often.  They include a 3 bedroom home on Lowell Ave in Old Town, Park City only steps from Park City Mountain Resort and 2 ski in/ski out units at The Lodge @ Mountain Village, one of the lodges at Park City Mountain Resort.  These great new properties would be perfect for a getaway vacation to experience all that Park City Rentals have to offer you.

Snow for Sundance Film Festival 2010!!

by Brady Goodwin 22. January 2010 07:37

The crowds brought the snow with them!  Adding to the normal hustle and bustle of the festival mother nature decided to donate over 1 feet of snow in the past 24 hours.  We are expecting more snow through the weekend and possibly into Monday.  In fact it is still snowing with no signs of letting up in the next few hours.  This got me thinking about what defines the different levels of snow storms.  The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration defines the level of snow storms as the following:

BLIZZARD: Winds of 35 mph or more with snow and
blowing snow reducing visibility to less than
¼ mile for 3 hours or more.

BLOWING SNOW: Wind-driven snow that reduces visibility.
Blowing snow may be falling snow and/or
snow on the ground picked up by the wind.

SNOW SQUALLS: Brief, intense snow showers accompanied
by strong, gusty winds. Accumulation may
be signifi cant.

SNOW SHOWERS: Snow falling at varying intensities for brief periods
of time. Some accumulation is possible.

SNOW FLURRIES: Light snow falling for short durations with little
or no accumulation.
